to celebrate spring (hip hip hooray!), I wore my new flower headband today.
here's a picture of jim smelling the flower.
and because new headbands should be shown off, jim and i ventured out of the apartment to explore the clinton hill/fort greene areas of brooklyn.
we sipped on iced drinks (coffee for me, raspberry italian soda for him) at tillie's.
after our juice tanks were filled, we set off down dekalb to ooh and ahh at all the good stuff that's right near our apartment that we never knew about till we left the apartment.

jim was a good sport while i shopped around thistle & clover. i fell in love with the most delicious pair of sue london flats i have ever seen (gold metallic, lots of traction, come in their own cute gold bag).
we caught a couple minutes of a cricket game in fort greene park.
and we walked around a revolutionary war monument and a crypt.
after playing in the park, i dragged jim over to blue bass vintage where i tried on the most delicious pair of white boots from the 80's (think fringe and chains). i didn't buy them, but i did snag an adorable peach colored belt which will be perfect for all my summer cinching needs.
when we were all vintaged-out, we had omelets at maggie brown. i want to go back to stare at their gorgeous velvety black and gold wallpaper. and for their homemade desserts.
