I had the pleasure of inhaling one of these bad boys on Saturday when my boyfriend took me on a date to brunch. And the children’s museum. And the movies. And then the bakery.
Say it with me now… Awwwww.
Jim almost decapitated himself walking into Levain so beware…anyone over 6 feet will need to duck through the bakery’s hobbit sized doorway. but i think a little head trauma is a small price to pay for the dark chocolate peanut butter chip piece of heaven he walked out with.
Honestly, these cookies were probably the best I’ve ever tasted. They’re the kind of cookies that make grown men yell, “orgasm in my mouth” on bougie upper west side street corners. They’re the kind of cookies that keep me eating long after that “I think I’m going to be sick” feeling kicks in. They’re the kind of cookies that taste good even as you walk through nasty New York street garbage.
They’re also the kind of cookies that make me wonder if I just developed type 2 diabetes.
