the sock bun tutorial has been making its rounds on the interwebs for quite a while now. i've been a long time fan of the effortlessly chic style, but it always seemed so...effort-full to me. that is until i learned* that the sock bun trick for us medium-haired folks is to find a short, thin sock that can get the job done without peeping through the hair.
booya, sock bun. you could not defeat the likes of me.
*by learned i mean i tried five different kinds of socks until i found one thin and short enough to do the job. i really need to go shopping for socks now.
