the good hotel

jim and i will be visiting my brother (holla, jamie!) in san francisco in a couple weeks, and i was tasked with the all important decision of choosing our hotel.

i went on priceline and hilton and marriott and travelzoo and then i went to bookit.com and found a winner!

the good hotel, located in san francisco's SOMA neighborhood, has colorful cuckoo clocks on the wall AND a photobooth so it was an obvious choice for us.

focused on living a good life, the hotel is very eco-friendly and features decor made out of recycled and reclaimed materials. also, guests can borrow Globe bicycles for FREE.

the best part? it cost us just $101 a night when i booked through bookit.com. (i don't even want to tell you how much we spent to stay at the Super8 in brooklyn's park slope neighborhood.)

sorry if this sounds like a commercial, but i'm jazzed about my find.

also i'm jazzed about the cuckoo clocks.

i'm jazzed about a San Francisco Giants game -- and Dave Matthews Band concert!!!

the least i can do is put up with some cuckoo clocks and possibly a wine country excursion.
