jim and i had the day off work today (thanks, JC!), so we decided to say hello to the lake via north avenue beach. it was chilly con carne, but that didn't stop me from running down to the beach. (note: putting your toes in the sand is a bit different when you're wearing knee high leather boots.)
the jimbo and i walked down the lakefront trail for a bit and talked about how pretty our city is (take that, NYC!) on the drive home we listened to a feminist podcast.
i totally give today an A. the only way it could have been better is if we made it to the matinee showing of Titanic in 3D. (i kid. OR DO I?!?)
