caye caulker

on our first full day in beautiful Belize, jim and i sailed on a catamaran to Hol Chan Marine Reserve to snorkel with turtles, sharks, and stingrays.

we stopped for lunch on the little island of Caye Caulker.

{lobster kabobs. can you say, YUM?}

there wasn't very much wind to help our boat get from Caye Caulker back to San Pedro. in fact, the trip home took almost three hours.

but it was sunny and breezy and deliciously warm which is a grand recipe for zzzzzz's in my book. 

by the time i woke up from my little nap on jim's shoulder we were back at the dock.

so i guess the trip went quickly for me. :)
